A life member at the American Law Institute, Deanne Siemer is a Washington, DC-based attorney and litigation consultant with more than five decades of experience. Since 1995, she has guided Wilsie Co., LLC, as managing director. In this capacity, Deanne Siemer has performed pro bono litigation work for those unable to pay for legal services and offered consulting services to legal professionals in areas including the management of multi-case litigation for corporations and case theory for courtroom presentations. Also a founding member and partner at SRS Online, LLC, she develops free-to-access video training materials for attorneys.

Ms. Siemer's legal background includes serving as a hearing officer for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands' Department of Labor and as a litigation partner at a pair of major Washington, DC-based firms. In 1977 she was appointed general counsel to the Department of Defense and served two years advising the President and Secretary of Defense on litigation matters. In addition, Deanne Siemer has served as a mediator with the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers.

Outside of her pursuits in the legal sector, Ms. Siemer is the founder and general manager of a small commercial organic farm in Strykersville, New York. Her sustainable agricultural operation produces organic apples, blueberries, and pears, among other fruit.
